The meeting will include a brief overview of the history of the Penguin Project and ACT’s commitment to bringing this central Pennsylvania. You’ll learn about the time commitment involved\, how rehearsals are conducted\, and have an opportunity to ask questions. We’re hosting our second annual year-end celebration of our volunteers & members!\n\nRSVP to join us in the ACT Rehearsal Hall on Saturday\, June 7th from 6-9 pm for food\, beverages\, Broadway karaoke\, dancing\, awards & recognitions! DESCRIPTION:ACT Book Swap \n\n\nNeed to make room on your bookshelf? Want to make sure your previously read books find a good home? Need a vacation read but don’t want to risk your fancy matching book sets? Need new reading suggestions? Simply LOVE reading and talking about it? \n\n\nCome to ACT’s Book Swap! \n\n\nBring books that you would like to find loving homes for\, come to browse through others’ collections\, or do both! You are not required to bring books in order to take some\, and there is no need for a one-for-one exchange at this event. \n\n\nSaturday June 28th 10AM to 1PM \n\n\nACT Rehearsal Hall\, 1213 12t Street\, Downtown Altoona \n\n\n$5 entrance fee per person\, benefitting Altoona Community Theatre \n\n\nEach guest 21+ gets one complimentary mimosa to sip while they browse! (Must have ID) \n\n\nHelp us get a head count (and enough champagne) by paying in advance here.\nEarly registrations accepted until 10 AM on Friday June 27\, after that your entrance fee will be taken at the door (cash or card). \nIf you’ll be bringing a lot of books and want table space\, please purchase an “I need a table” ticket instead of general admission (the price is the same!)
