Deathtrap
September 16-19, 2021
In this classic comedy/thriller, Sidney Bruhl, a washed-up playwright, receives a script from a former student – a play that’s a guaranteed Broadway hit. It’s an opportunity that Sidney might be willing to kill for. His wife, Myra, suggests the two men could collaborate. Sidney jokes that it’d be just as easy to murder the young man and steal the script for his own. When Clifford arrives later that evening, no one – not even the visiting psychic – could predict where the dark events of the night will go. Deathtrap is a sharply funny play full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the final curtain. **Contains adult subject matter**
Miracle on 34th Street
November 18-21, 2021
A kind, elderly gentleman who goes by the name Kris Kringle gets a job working as Santa at Macy’s. His honest and generous spirit unleashes a wave of good will throughout New York City and a hint of magic in the heart of a very practical little girl. When Kris insists that he’s the real Santa Claus, he ends up in a court competency hearing where both his freedom and the joys of childhood are at stake.
This holiday tale is one that we want to believe in where love, decency, and generosity of spirit are their own reward. A joyous and heart-warming stage adaption.
Auditions to be held September 26th & 27th
The Great Gatsby
February 10-13, 2022
Jay Gatsby, a self-made millionaire, passionately pursues the elusive Daisy Buchanan as the Roaring 20’s come to the Mishler stage in an acclaimed adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel (approved by the Fitzgerald estate).
Nick Carraway, a young would-be writer and a newcomer to Long Island, is drawn into their world of obsession, greed, and danger. They’re all sipping cocktails, flirting heedlessly, and spinning fantasies about themselves and about Gatsby, their mysterious host. Nick narrates a tale of love, dreams, and tragedy. “A beautifully crafted stage interpretation of the 1925 novel which defined the Jazz Age. This is indeed a Grand Gatsby.” -London Free Press
Auditions to be held November 28th & 29th
The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy
May 5-8, 2022
They’re creepy and they’re kooky, mysterious and spooky. Based on Charles Addams’ original macabre cartoons, The Addams Family, a madcap blockbuster Broadway musical, finds the charmingly creepy clan facing a new nightmare – daughter Wednesday has fallen in love…with a nice young man from Ohio! Despite the young couple’s plea for things to just be normal for once, the dinner party hosted by Gomez and Morticia to meet the boy’s parents soon goes devilishly awry, testing the bonds of family, love, and unholy matrimony.
It’s a musical comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family!
Auditions will be held in early 2022. Watch this space for more information!
