Advanced Acting Workshop for Teens

Are you a teen with a passion for theatre and acting? Do you have previous experience with summer drama camps or school/community theatre productions? If you're hungry for more advanced acting techniques and information, ACT has an exciting opportunity for you this summer!

Why Join?
This workshop is designed for 9-12 graders who are eager to take their acting skills to the next level. Unlike traditional summer drama camps, there won't be a production at the end. This workshop will be limited to participants chosen through an audition process, allowing for a more focused and individualized experience.

Dual Opportunities
Students who have completed 9-12 grades can participate in both the C-1 summer drama camp and/or the Advanced Acting Workshop.

The C-1 camp offers a traditional group-oriented process, culminating in a production under the experienced direction of Julie Binus.

You can also choose to audition for the Advanced Acting Workshop, which emphasizes individual growth and advanced techniques.

What to Expect
In this intensive workshop, you'll dive deep into scene and script analysis, character study, physical and vocal techniques, and preparation for future auditions. We will use demonstrations, monologues, improvisational scenes, short partner scenes and various acting exercises to develop new confidence and skills.

Meet the Instructors
Stephen Guice, Kate Kale Wolf and Rachel Volpe Wagner share a passion for educating through theatre arts and a wide variety of experience both studying and teaching acting skills, as well as many years of onstage performance in a variety of settings.  With their guidance, you'll gain valuable insights and techniques to enhance your acting abilities.
